If you want to experience the island like a local, stay at Alona Bamboo House -- a hotel on Alona Beach modelled to the traditional Bohol homes...
If you plan to stay in Panglao for a long time, this is the place to stay. You'll definitely get a good deal from them especially if you are a big group. Normally a fully air-conditioned room with T&B and Cable TV is 1000 pesos per night for 2 but since we booked the room for 3 days we got the deal for same but for 3 persons. Nice! The room is neat and they have a nice veranda and garden in front. It is accessible from the main road and from the beach area. Nice staff and you can request for hot water anytime if you wish to have some coffee or noodles.
yes, i am definitely recommending this logging. at a rate of 23$ for two in one bed, you have this cable tv, very operational air conditioner room, private comfort room with awesome shower, and the most comfortable bed i've ever slept.
